At My Local Pilates Plus, located at Pelican Plaza in Ridgehaven, we run 30+ Reformer Pilates classes each week to help you build strength, improve movement, and support your long-term wellbeing.
Reformer Pilates uses a spring-loaded machine (the reformer) to deliver a full-body, low-impact workout that can be tailored for all ages, fitness levels, and health conditions. It’s perfect for those looking to manage pain, prevent injury, or simply feel stronger and more balanced.
Our Clinical Reformer Pilates classes strengthen and improve flexibility, tailored to your individual needs and closely supervised by a qualified Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist. This ensures safe practice and makes it private health rebatable. Perfect for injury recovery, strength, mobility and flexibility.
Before you join a class:
An initial assessment is required prior to joining any of our groups and classes to assess your medical history and physical activity status to guide you into the appropriate group with a tailored program.

For hygiene and safety, please wear grippy socks during your sessions. These can be purchased at reception.

If you have an injury, pain or a health condition it is a good idea to begin your Reformer strengthening program under the supervision of a health professional.
Or, even if you are fit and healthy, some people prefer to exercise in a smaller group with extra supervision to build their confidence.
- Your individualised program is tailored to suit your injuries or health concerns.
- You will be supervised by a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist (Health Fund Rebates May Apply).
- You will work on your specific goals.
- You will learn the technique of each exercise at your own pace.
- You can interact during the session, ask questions if you need.
